The original lords of the Fey walked Etheria many thousands of years ago. Now, all that remains of these intensely beautiful creatures are faint memories and a few of their spirits who refuse to pass from this life into the next. These spirits are known as Banshees. Almost universally they are sad creatures, frightening and beautiful at the same time. They wander by starlight crying out to the moon, for their lost empire. It is said that to hear the wail of Banshee will make even a brave warrior run in fear, or perhaps even drop dead on the spot!

This small woodland dragon may seem harmless and cute, but he can spit tiny balls of fire! That would not be a problem if you only encountered one, but like most Fey units, Faery Dragons tend to travel around in swarms. Occasionally a Wizard will keep one as a pet or familiar, but their violent mood-swings mean that one moment they will be curled up contentedly on your desk, and the next they will be burning your beard and trying to tear the nose off of your face. In fact the Orcish word for Faery Dragon, 'Golkorash', translates to 'Crazy Rat with Wings'.
